A new strain of malware called EU ATM Malware, targeting ATMs in Europe, is gaining popularity in the cyber underground with a claimed unprecedented 99% effectiveness.
According to the seller, EU ATM Malware is capable of uncovering almost any European ATM and up to 60% of devices worldwide manufactured by Diebold Nixdorf, Hyosung, Oki, Bank of America, NCR, GRG, Hitachi, etc.
The declared economic performance characteristics of the malware guarantee the buyer up to $30,000 per ATM, while being automated, ensuring deployment and operation. But it also has a manual mode of operation.
The seller offers a flexible payment system and is ready to provide a monthly subscription, a demo version of the payload for up to three days, as well as an initial payment with a share of the profits from successful operations.
