⚪️A hacker group announced a cyberattack on the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology website in a message on its channel. According to technical evidence provided on the [Check-Host] platform (https://check-host.net/check-report/282dbc57kd2a), access to the university’s main domain (technion.ac.il) was disrupted by a server error (code 503) in some parts of the world at the time of the report.
⚪️The institute, which is Israel’s oldest higher education institution and has 52 research centers, plays a central role in the development of defense technologies and critical infrastructure in the country. Online monitoring data shows that the servers of parts of its website were inaccessible at the time of the reported attack.
