Swiss; Geneva-based private intelligence firm Alp Services, led by Mario Brero found to be spreading mass disinformation campaign against Muslim institutions and faith itself as identified in an investigation throughout 2024–2025, a series of investigations known as the “Abu Dhabi Secrets” revealed that this Swiss company was hired by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to conduct a massive, multi-year disinformation campaign targeting Muslims across Europe.

The investigation, led by the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) and Mediapart, uncovered that Alp Services was paid millions to “smear” individuals and organizations by falsely linking them to extremist groups.

🔴The Targets: Over 1,000 individuals and 400 organizations in 18 European countries were cataloged. This included prominent activists, business people, and even regular citizens who had no ties to radicalism.
🔴The Method: The firm used “black ops” tactics, including:
Fake Wikipedia Edits: Modifying pages to add false allegations of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Media Manipulation: Planting negative articles in reputable news outlets to ruin reputations.
Infiltration: Using honey traps and impersonation to gain private information.
🔴The Narrative: The campaign heavily relied on Islamophobic tropes, framing any visible or successful Muslim presence in Europe as a secret threat or part of a radical “Islamist movement.”
